Fun’s over, back to work
February 11th, 2008
The Maple Leafs hosted their annual skills competition yesterday. Most Leaf players enjoyed the time off from regular games and practices and enjoyed just taking laying back and having fun.
It was very shocking to find that the attendance was much lower than normal even for a skills competition.
Some highlights of the event;
This probably doesn't surprise anyone who watched the all star skills competition - Tomas Kaberle won the shot accuracy contest. Jason Blake was named the fastest skater and Chat Kilger for the 2nd year in a row won the hardest shot competition.
Vesa Toskala did not participate in the event, he was said to be resting due to all of the games he has played and the upcoming games he will be playing.
